Not only one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, but the owners are amazing and are as friendly as can be. They are some of my favorite people ever. I only wish that they were at the Girdwood brewery more often.

I was taken to this food truck once and i am a picky eater i was told to trust and try sandwich as is OMG i was not disappointed but my only disappointment was not being able to find this truck again i will be at the food truck festival today and will once again be able to devour this amazing food again.

I came from WA to visit family, and had this at the state fair. OMG this was the best sandwich I have had for a very long time! I think the bread is a grilled cheese?! And the caramelized onions add a touch of sweetness. Just amazing! Don't wait, get one (or more) now!

The meat was perfectly moist and the bbq sauce was just sweet enough. The coleslaw and arugula were enough to cut that sweetness to a perfectly crunchy and delectable bite. The melty cheese helped keep the whole thing together well.

The Hungry Deckhand sandwich in Girdwood, Alaska was seriously good. Big portions, fresh ingredients, and packed with flavor. It was filling without feeling overly heavy, and everything worked really well together. Definitely the kind of sandwich you want after being outside all day. I'd absolutely order it again next time I'm in Girdwood. Highly recommend!

We rolled into Girdwood, hungry and tired. We ordered two Pig Pen's and watched the owner go to town on the most amazing sandwiches I've tasted in a long time. The pork, sourdough and slaw combo was ridiculously good. My 11 year old son said "that chef is a wizard" - which made us all laugh - but it was true! Don't miss out on anything this husband and wife duo is serving. It's magic!

If you want your taste buds to explode with so much flavor, that no other sandwich will compare, I suggest getting this sandwich. First time I tried it, I had to get another one. It was so freaking delicious. I would recommend this sandwich to every single person I know. You have to try it at least once in your life.
